About Us
We are horticulturist on a mission to make our city greener one plant at a time. Based out of Austin, Texas, Ashley had a vision to bring plant lovers together to use our green thumbs to take care of plants throughout the city. And that is how House Plant Sitter was born.
As plant sitters, we are knowledgeable in all areas of plant care. From misting tropical plants to watering vegetable gardens to re-potting the ones that are outgrowing their homes. We will look after your plants, big or small, so all you have to do is enjoy them.
I’ve had Ashley water my plants while I was out of town twice now and both times have been smooth and hassle-free. The last time I asked her to look after my plants was on a last second trip but she was still able to come by. Communication and care is top notch and consistent, which is not commonly found nowadays imo – I plan to continue to use Ashley’s services for any future trips I have. Thanks Ashley! 🙂

Ashley repotted my snake plant wonderfully! She took care of everything, including all the supplies, quickly and professionally. The plant looks so much more comfortable now in its bigger pot. It was lovely to meet her, and I’d definitely reach out again for any future plant care needs!

Ashley is amazing! She pruned and fertilized my plants and gave great feedback on how to get them to grow. I am going to reschedule a repotting for some of my plants soon.
Ashley is the plant whisperer. She takes care of our household of indoor plants weekly and they have thrived under her care. She knows things that mere mortals do not when it comes to plant care, hidden secrets that no app or instruction manual will tell you. As a result our household is green and lush. Highly recommend for any plant care needs, residential or commercial.

Ashley and team came into our office and completely refreshed and revived our large hanging planters which were in a sorry state after long term neglect from the last care provider. Ashley did an amazing job repotting my beloved Monstera. I’ve been caring for this plant for a year and so when it came to repotting it, I wanted to find a plant care expert that knew their stuff. I was so impressed with how much better my plant looked after she repotted it. It was drooping and sad before and now it’s thriving again! (See before and after photos) She helped me to pick a pot that was the right size for my growing plant, refreshed the soil and staked it as well so it can grow up instead of out. Not to mention, she’s also an incredibly kind and lovely person. I would highly recommend Ashley for any of your plant care needs.
