Planting and Repotting

About Planting and Repotting
Are your plant roots getting enough space? Our repotting services can ensure that they are!
Our green friends love to grow and we love to watch them bloom. But they can get cramped in their old pots and are not able to send out a distress signal until it is much too late. Providing a comfortable, spacious home is often key to your plat having a long, healthy life.

Plant Repotting Schedule
It’s important to consider the seasons when scheduling plant repotting services.
Why Spring Is Best
Early spring is the most ideal time for repotting. As daylight increases, plants receive a surge of energy that supports faster root growth and a quicker recovery. By late spring and early summer, most plants can still comfortably tolerate root disturbance and will continue to establish themselves without issue.
Mid-Summer Caution
Repotting in mid-summer is possible, but it requires extra care. High temperatures and heat stress can make recovery more difficult, so during this time we only repot plants that are severely root-bound or showing urgent signs of distress.
Why We Avoid Fall & Winter
We steer clear of fall repotting because it can interrupt a plant’s transition into dormancy and lead to root complications during winter. Repotting in winter is avoided entirely unless absolutely necessary—typically when a plant has soil pests or is experiencing a critical soil-related issue.
Emergency Repotting
For any urgent situations—such as pest-infested soil, severe root binding, or collapsing root systems—our team is always available to provide emergency repotting services to stabilize your plant’s health.
